Raylgon has only been king for a relatively short time when it comes to Dragon years. During his short rule he has been faced with a tragedy that has affected all of the Earth Dragons. The king's disciples are divided in half with their opinions of him. Some believe that he is a great ruler and did his best on defending the city from the Fire Dragon hoard. The other half do not believe he defended them as well as he should and consider him a less superior ruler then his father and kinds the ruled before him. Raylgon has been conflicted on how he handled the attack. He was once very confident ruler but now his confidence is shattered and he is no longer sure if he is best suited for being a king. His father was known as one of the greatest rulers amounts the Earth Dragons and Raylgon fears that he will never be able to live up to his father’s legacy as a ruler.
Raylgon, although at first appearance can seem to be quite intimidating, he is actually a gentle giant. He is very kind person that is very empathetic of others but he is not the type of person you want to get angry. It takes a lot for Raylgon to lose his temper but when he does he become a different person. He is very strong, more than a lot of other dragons. He is very well trained in sword combat as well. Raylgon is a very wise past his years. Some would say he has a very "old soul". When he was a child he was very bright always accelerate in anything he learned. He has always had a fascination with the world of humans. He finds their history, culture and appearance be very appealing. He has the most curiosity about how humans have hair that grows on top of their heads on their bodies as Dragons lack hair of any sorts. Raylgon had met a group of humans when he was a child, which ignited his fascination. When he first meets Prince Legacy he is immediately drawn to him in an emotional and physical level. He hides his true feeling at first but after getting close to the prince he lets his true feelings show.

dear god, he's even bigger then the full body pics you've done in the past... you really need to draw all these characters in compromising positions, i'm looking forwards to Legacy and Raylgon the most :p
Yeah Dragons are pretty big...they are Dragons after all. A lot of his weight it attributed to his muscle mass and his tail, which can be pretty heavy. I am hoping to do some naughty ones of him soon.
How many characters have you got rolling around inside your head? the character list is pretty damn long already, the detail you've put into it is impressive to say the least.
OMG so many! I keep coming up with new ones. I need to stop doing that and concentrate on the ones I already have. Of this series there are five seven or so more to introduce...major characters, there are less significant ones as well.
Haha, i'm sure you'll get around to it, personally, i want to see Leviathan pin Donovan and Raylgon bed Legacy :P If I'd had the money to spare i probably would have commissioned them.
oh well maybe someday you will get to see that. hearing how people like these characters and stories really inspires me to draw more images of them.
I really like the design. He has a quiet macho appeal. The strong and sexy type. Always liked the full body animated version you posted on Y! like a year ago.

Thanks Chris. That pic of him in the bath was one of the first time I drew him in full. He has not changed too much over the years. :)
